The story of ramayana presented through different forms of folk theatre and folk story-telling techniques. This is an innovative attempt to present ramayana in a different way, adopting the rich and diverse forms of folk theatre belonging to different regions of india.

Nat and nati narrate the story employing the technique of rangla and rangli of ‘bhawai’ the folk theatre of gujarat. They appear in between the scenes to provide the link in a humorous and rustic manner, serving the purpose of both sutradhar and vidhushak as in sanskrit plays.the choreography and the music score employ folk dances and folk songs of various regions, which have been innovatively woven into the story. Costume design evokes an earthy and rustic feel.
